This software version | All versions -
Version: Trillian 3.1.12
Pros: A simply GUI - includes all popular messengers
Cons: none really
Summary: No need to download all those messengers which frees a bit of space.
-
Version: Trillian 3.1.12
"Does not retrieve Yahoo contacts"
Pros: Not sure, inability to connect to Yahoo made me to uninstall immediately.
Cons: Does not retrieve Yahoo contacts. At all.
Summary: Seems to connect to Yahoo, but did not retrieve any contact. So if is unusable with a major network, the entire suite is more or less left to be unusable.
-
Version: Trillian 3.1.12
"Still works after all these years"
Pros: Connects to Yahoo, AIM, and Google concurrently with no problems. Even on Vista.
Cons: Takes a little bit of tweaking to 'minimalize' things so the GUI doesn't look so 'Fisher-Price'.
Latest version wants to install stupid plugins like weather channel apps and some IE toolbar. Lame.Summary: Been a paid 'pro' user for years... Trillian kills over installing all the crap that the IM providers want you to. The jabber client is a plus.
-
Version: Trillian 3.1.12
Pros: MSN works on it
Cons: aim and yahoo don't work on it still.
Summary: I miss the old days when this program collected the three im programs I use into one place.
-
Version: Trillian 3.1.12
Pros: more advanced....
Cons: confusing?
